THE VIVIANS
The Vivians are five close friends who assembled together in the basement of a café in Edinburgh, August 2006, to create
the foundations of a rock ‘n’ roll band. They released second single “Just Two Girls” in August 2009 through the Too Pure
Singles Club (Beggars Banquet Group). The track has taken off massively and was added to NME Radio Playlist A for the
entire month – beating all other singles released by the Beggars Group that month. XFM has played the single extensively as
has BBC Radio 1 Scotland. “Just Two Girls” has also been played on the Radio 1 Rock Show and shortlisted for “single of the
year” by RockFeeback.com. Each review shows great admiration for the new single and the potential for The Vivians to have a
successful future.
THE SUPERNOVAS
The Supernovas are a young 4-piece from the Holloway Road, in North London. They have been playing together since the
tender age of 16, tearing up stages the length and breadth of the country. In their time together they have played
alongside Babyshambles, The Holloways, The Kooks and Larrikin Love, to name but a few. The lads debut single Ace Face was
released towards to end of last year and was soon followed by shows around the country supporting Babyshambles.
SWING YOUTH
Swing Youth are a band of brothers tearing up their local scene and are a breath of fresh air on the London Circuit.
They won’t remain a little secret for long! Their amazing double A side debut single Myself To Blame/Blade of grass was
released in October last year and was given air play by both Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson, since then all physical copies
have sold out... Come and see what all the fuss is about!

GREASY LIPS CLUB
MUSIC: Indie / Rock / Punk
This night is rocking Dirty South every month and with this the first Greasy Lips Club of 2010, they have pulled out all the
stops with another four of the best unsigned bands and an amazing DJ set by the host for the night, Alan McGee.
The format continues with Alan and event partner Jamie Kelly handpicking another four of the best unsigned bands and giving
them the opportunity to perform on the Greasy Lips Club stage. Alan will offer his time, knowledge and advice to the bands and
also push the acts and event through his blogs.
Headlining the night will be The Invasion Of….whose line up include a certain Gary Powell, the original drummer for the
Libertines and Dirty Pretty Things. He is well known to Alan who was manager of both these great bands. They will be ably
supported by The Brassic, Falling Embers and Boldly Goin’ Nowhere.
In addition to this great live line up, Alan himself will be DJing. McGee's sets are notoriously eclectic, spanning punk,
indie, rock and always a few surprises thrown in for good measure.
The acts Alan McGee has been involved with over the last 20 years, reads like a who’s who of modern British indie/rock (the
guy has managed everyone from Mogwai to The Charlatans to The Libertines and launched the careers of Oasis and The Hives). He
fashioned Britpop out of his original Creation Records imprint and triumphantly returned with the Poptone label. As you can
imagine, this new concept club night not only offers a platform for those involved to push their sound, but a chance to really
develop their own path for the future.
All the ingredients are in place except one – just add people!

Starting the evening with a cool Captain Kitty DJ mix of 80's Electro - Rock - Pop - Indie - Hip Hop - New Romantic - New Wave & Two Tone.
Amongst the music mix there will be Liquid Limousine, Flintlock & Six Nation State rocking out all their great songs.
We will be hosting an 80's Megamix live 'Dance Off with the '80's Kittens' which is sure to getting the crowd going! Bottle
of fizz for the best dancer! After the rocking & air guitars have finished we will have DJ's spinning tunes back to back from
80-89.

Coleco's music is more of a genre defying exploration of sounds. All of his influences become clearly apparent in his
music, as takes you on a journey through deeply harmonic melodies, and heavy funk breakbeats, with deep, rippling bassline
undertones. Alongside your monthly raptor residents.
RAPTOR is going to get bigger and better as 2010 progresses, bringing you the biggest names, and more of the freshest
local talent at the same time.

Tonight Absent Kelly gives you the chance to check out the first band to emerge post the Oasis split! As Noel and Liam
squabble, Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs leads the way with his new band The Vortex! Bonehead was guitarist in the original Oasis
line and is set to bring a fresh, big Manchester sound to our southern stage on the ONLY London date of their European tour.
Their music, reminiscent of early Oasis begs the question, ‘how much did Bonehead contribute to the sounds of Defiantly Maybe
and Morning Glory which defined a decade?’ This was the much loved sound that indeed seemed to dry up on his departure from
the band. Interesting, to say the least.
In addition we also have a host of live support acts including local favourites, The Dirty Reds!
